Covid-update, January 2021
The borders of Belarus are open, the Belavia company operates the flights from all European countries. We have no lockdown, so you can enjoy Minsk with cafes, restaurants and people on the streets.
Here are the rules for entrance:
-arrival/departure only through Minsk International Airport
-fresh (max 72 hours) PCR test
-insurance (can be bought at the airport)
-minimal time of stay 10 nights (11 days) – from “red zone” countries
-sel-isolation for 10 days , but it’s not controlled anyway – from “red zone” countries
Conditions for the visa-free entry:
- entrance/exit only through the border checkpoint at the Minsk International Airport (MSQ)
- a valid passport for foreign travels
- to show that you have approximately 23 Euro per day in cash
- medical insurance in the amount of at least €10,000 (can be done at the airport upon arrival, costs around 1 euro per day)
The visa-free regime does not apply to people arriving to Belarus by plane from Russia and planning to go to the airports of Russia (these are internal flights with no border control).
